Tom's Story
Hello:
We're living in the Washington DC area. I'm a correspondent for NBC News - reporting (almost) daily for the Today Show, NBC Nightly News and MSNBC.
We moved to DC in 2005 at the invitation of my old boss - the late Tim Russert. We came here after spending six years in the New York area where I worked for NBC News and CNBC Business News as a correspondent, anchor and Chief Nasdaq Correspondent.

My wife, Astrid, is from Brussels. We have two girls - both born in Europe when we were living there.
After high school, I traveled for a year as a guitarist in Up With People...then returned to Colorado to attend CU, where I graduated in 1987.
From 1987 until 1989, I worked in El Paso, TX in my first on-air job at KVIA-TV as a reporter.
I was fortunate to return to Denver and 9NEWS/KUSA-TV in 1989...where I worked until leaving for Brussels in 1995.
Looking forward to hearing from "old" friends. God! Was it really 25+ years ago since AHS?
