Tom's Story
Attended MacDonald College Agriculture Worked Douglas lake Cattle Co . BC then to St Anthony NFLD Dairy cattle and Hogs Married There . Then moved to The laurentians Mont Rollad Timber Top dairy farm for five years Two children born here . Then we moved to ST John`s Nfld Govt Agriculture 2000 Hogs Cheif herds man for17 yrs, then Manager untill bad health two heart attacks and six strokes: Had to retire. healthier . Going to live to be 95. Two children born here in NFLD .1deceased 15 years ago with a meningeoma . Will never be forgotten . Just got over a bout of intense radiation therapy for lung cancer March 2010. Fell better now than i have for a couple of years !Have 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson Tis a reminder all over of when I was young which is good. April 2011 Cancer chek ; all is clear . a recheck will be done in another 6 months.
