Life Well, I didn't become a doctor after all (patients around the country are worshipfully grateful). I'm now retired, having spent the last 25 years as technical writer/editor and program manager for a university space research lab working primarily with DoD & NASA. Married in '64, 2 kids, 6 grandkids. My wife Pat and I divorced in 2007, but remain friends. We enjoy getting together 2-3 times a month for dinner or a movie or whatever--and traveling when her schedule and my interest permit. Otherwise it's a pretty boring life with nothing to do but home brewing, photography, canoeing (when the ice is off), camping (ice doesn't matter), baking sourdough, entertaining grandkids (often in the canoe), writing for ME, learning (I hope!) to be a better Oriental cook, raising a garden (I LOVE fresh corn and tomatoes!) and other domestic pursuits.
