Tom's Story
I'm pastor of a Presbyterian church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I've been for the last 30 years. Before that I was in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I married Chrissie Glidden (Charter Oak HS) in 1968, and our marriage is still going strong. We have one child, Audrey, who is an ER doc here in Tulsa. She and her husband, Paul Stanton, have one child, Emily, who is now in college.
Chrissie and I have travelled the world, in all continents except Australia and Antarctica. I travel a lot through church business.

graduate degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. I have also received an earned and honorary doctorate.
Chrissie is a professor of English at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa; she is chair of the English and Modern Languages college. She got her doctorate from Vanderbilt University.
Thoughout the years I've had a kind of second career in music. I've performed internationally as a harpsichordist and organist. I have also sung in professional choral groups in California and Scotland. A few years ago I sang the bass solos from Handel's "Messiah" in four concerts in Moscow, Russia.
