Tom's Story
Every day is a good day the grass is below your feet....About Me:My # 1 goal is to make a difference, first in my life, my children¿s lives and the people I consider my friends.
I have had a very interesting path so far in my life. I am a former Metropolitan Toronto Police Constable. I have also operated as manage/Investigator for a Private Investigation firm, I have been involved with financially planning with my Securities license and Insurance licence. I have cut grass for $8 per hour at 30 years old and I have worked security at Ontario¿s first casino when it opened in Niagara Falls. The thing I am most proud of is I started a business of flip that house before it became so popular on T.V. now. I had no choice; I had quit my job and needed to do something to support myself and my family. I currently own a cottage Resort on the best beach in Canada.
I have been like most people, when I was working at a job, my butt was always burning and I believed that I could be better and do better. I was a person who was always open to opportunity and tried. I was taught that self education is very powerful; I began my real estate investing starting at the library. It is a shame that less than 3% of people have a library card. It¿s FREE!!! I read almost ever book I could get my hands on about real estate from the Terry Berry Library in Hamilton. I have also self educated in the area of money. I have learned how to win the money game by doing it and putting into place some very simply strategies. ...Expand for more
I have read the Wealthy Barber and before that Common Sense, and recently I have read the Richest Man In Babylon by George S. Clayson. These are 3 books that if you read will change your life in wealth.
Like most of us when we hit 40, our warranty runs out and we start to have some issues with our health. I have high acid in my body due to poor diet which caused me Gout on a regular basis, which lead to kidney stones (ask any mother who had given birth how it feels, now I am in no way saying it is the same thing but the nurse told me its about as painful¿I never want that again!!!) and on my way to popping blood pressure pills for the rest of my life.
I have learned to pay myself first like you will see in the 3 above books and it works. I never knew any thing about health. I now know that there is nothing more important than your health, nothing.
I started another journey of self education after I was introduced to an amazing product. It has changed my life in better health, both physically and financially. I have learned why we get sick and it doesn¿t have to be this way. I have learned how balance is important to your life; I have learned how to be happy, positive and giving.
I am looking forward to meeting people here who are motivated and are looking to make a difference and who are looking for a vehicle that can take them to where they want to end up, I believe everyone wants better health, both physically and financially, spiritually and emotionally.
