Toney's Story
I'm older, grayer and a little heaverier and hopefully a lot wiser. I love southern gospel music and sang lead in a group for 12 years. I joined the Marine Corps and reached the rank of sergeant E-5 before getting out , Which i regret doing. Getting out that is. The Corps was right for me. I worked mostly in management positions until 1992. Then worked as a technian in the pest control field until my heart went south in 2001. I serve as Chaplain for the Marine Corps League Detachment in Shelby, NC. Made a lot of friends along lifes road and lost a lot of sorrows on the way. Made some mistakes and i think i learned from each. We can't go back but if I hurt anyone I am not aware of along the way. Please forgive me. Youth is ...Expand for more
like that. We do things and regret them later. Regrets, Yes I have a few. but I count them as a step on the latter to getting better at things. I will never grow up because I love life to much but have matured in God's love and do not fear death. God bless you all
I have 2 children. A son , Toney Shawn. and My daughter, Laurana Christine. I have 3 grandchildren. Christa,15. Jacob, 11. Both Lauranas. Carsten, 2 of course by my son. They are my pride and joys.
I love to go to Cape lookout and surf fish, work in my woodshop, and just be a little crazy sometimes. At the top of my list is God and i try to serve him daily. I sing in church and love to lift Him up in song.
I am still the old Toney but mayby a better version.
