Professionally, Ms. Toni is a certified fraud examiner and certified forensic financial analyst with a speciality in forensic accounting and investigative methodologies.The certifications support her formal education: B.S. in Accounting, M.S. in Criminal Justice, Certificate in Forensic Criminology, and soon a Certificate in Security Studies. Her experience and expertise allow her to participate in litigation and investigations connected to divorce proceedings, division of property issues, estate matters, fraud deterrence and detection issues and all other matters that require investigative accounting. She is a qualified trained expert witness. She has spent over 15 years in the business – most recently focused on the sports and entertainment industries. Currently, Ms. Toni is a Doctoral Teaching Fellow at the University of Massachusetts Lowell where she is completing her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice and Criminology and teaches Intimate Partner Violence and is developing other courses.
A single mother of two boys, Ms. Toni is the founding CEO of I AM MORE, LLC and the Founder of I AM MORE Institute for Excellence & Social Responsibility, Inc. It was her personal experience that led Ms. Toni on a quest to become familiar with the complexities of criminology and victimology. A survivor of sexual assault, domestic violence, and emotional abuse, her story is one of "empowerment beyond victimization!" She lives the struggles of being a single mother, understands the emotional stress of living with a mentally ill family member, and sees the toll crime and economic lack has on the inner-city community.
