After High School I enlisted in the US Coast Guard and served 8 years. After that I apprenticed as an electrician/electronics technician. While studying for a degree in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I joined the New York City Fire Department in 1998 (my father was a firefighter). till maintain my master electrician license. I was forced to retire early after health complications arising from my service at the WTC disaster. Upon retirement I went back to school at SUNY Maritime where I am earning a degree in Small Vessel Management and a US Coast Guard License. You can catch me on the tugs and tankers going up and down the Hudson.
