Anthony (Tony)'s Story
Life
(3-14-05) Where do I start? After leaving school, I've put a lot of miles on. 4000 words isn't a lot of space...but I'll try.
I'm in the music trade now (surprised?) Life has been eventful. Married, divorced, one son who is 16 and autistic. I am a professional musician (still drumming), record producer, and recording engineer. I've also moved into artist development, and publicity. I live in the Vancouver BC suburb of Surrey, and have lived in this community since 1979. I graduated in the Kootenays (Invermere) in 1977, and moved back to the hometown (Whitehorse) for 2 years. I moved back to the lower mainland (Surrey)in 1979 and worked in retail management until 1987. '87 saw me get married, and take a position with an audio equipment wholesaler, covering a territory in the interior of BC. We lived in Kamloops for a year. My wife became pregnant, and we moved back to White Rock in 1988, where our son Aaron was born. After Aaron was born, we moved to Langle...Expand for more
y...and then back to White Rock. Aarons' developmental difficulties became apparent to us, and after the requisite tests and examinations, it was determined that Aaron was autistic, a devastating revelation for Heidi and I. That, along with other pressures, contributed to the demise of our marriage, but Heidi and I remain friends and successfully co-parent Aaron without need for court orders etc.
I had been gradually building a recording studio through the 90's, and committed to full time self employment (or should I say self-unemployment)in the field in 1996. Additional career bio info can be found at triple-wDOTglendaraeDOTcom
I would love to connect with old classmates, from Whitehorse in particular. Even though I left the Yukon in 1974, I still identify strongly with the people I grew up with there, and my curiousity about them is insatiable. Even though I did not graduate from F.H. Collins in 1977, I would love to attend the reunion in 2007 if invited.
