Tonya's Story
Life
Well I was in the Navy for 8 years. After bootcamp I was in SC for Nuke School. I was there over a year... I hated it. I then went to Mississippi for a few months for Weather Forecasting School. I got stationed in Japan after my schooling from Jan 02-Jan 05. I loved it in Japan. I miss it and would love to go back some day. I then spent 3 years in Hawaii. It was alright. Japan was way cooler.
In July 2003 I started to get really sick. The doctors didn't know what was wrong with me. I went through many many tests. I lost 50lbs in 4 months. I couldn't eat anything and I was in a lot of pain. Eventually they did the right tests and found out I have Crohn's Disease. They put me on all kinds of medications. I felt like a guinea pig some days. I was on 8 different meds... about 17 pills a day... I hated it. I got stationed in Hawaii because they have a better hospital to give me the treat...Expand for more
ment and care I need. In June 2005 I had surgery. They took out about a foot of my intestine. I have a nice big scar now. But I have been feeling much better. No more meds, at least for now.
I got married, he cheated, we got divorced. I refuse to put up with a man who cheats. I deserve better. I got out of the Navy Jan 08. I decided to move to Wenatchee... what a mistake! Moved here with my boyfriend Ross who is from South Carolina. We have looking for jobs. It sucks here. We may be moving to Yakima...
My parents are taking care of my 2 horses. I havent really kept in touch with my friends much. The only person I really talk to is Mary Reid. I had a friend from West Valley I talked to but Derek Bell died, JUST 2 DAYS before I got home for leave. My whole family took his death pretty hard. He was the best guy Ill ever know. Ill always love him. Well on that note Ill let you all go.Â
