Tracey Brandt Sherwood:  

After graduating from SSHS I went to OSU and graduated in four years with a BA in Child Development and a Minor in Psychology. I knew immediately I wanted to work with kids….starting at the Children’s Farm Home while I was living in Corvallis. Soon I moved to Salem and began a nine year career at Hillcrest School… a juvenile facility for incarcerated youth. I loved working with these kids. During this time I married and we had two beautiful baby boys. We four loved camping, the Blazers, OSU and U/O sports, our dogs, and we were in love with being outdoors! When the boys both started elementary school I returned to SSHS working with teens in an alternative ed classroom. I worked for nine years, loved the kids, and loved being on the same schedule as our sons. During this time we went to Disneyland, Disneyworld, Kauai, took numerous camping trips, bike rides and other fun outside activities!
