Life Some of you know I continued to run swimming pools for quite sometime after graduation. I ran quite a successful aquatics program at the Hoover Outdoor Education Center in Yorkville which is owned by the Chicago Boys Scouts. I learned alot about the Boy Scouts while working there. I left there in 1995 to work at the pool in Keeler Center in Aurora. Working at Keeler Center, I was able to work with people with mental and physical disabilites. I became active in Special Olympics. I left there in 1997. I worked for a friend of the family until I found the most recent job I had. For the past 3 1/2 years, I had been the Activities Coordinator/Spectialist for a group home for mentally retarded adults. It was the easiest most rewarding job I've ever had. As of now, I'm a stay at home mom. I was married in Septembr 1997. My marriage came to a tragic end on August 30, 1999 when my husband was killed in a car accident. I was 8 months pregnant with our first child at the time of his sudden death. I gave birth to my son on October 21, 1999. He is named after his dad.
