Tracie's Story
Life
In 1994 After I graduated I went to Cazenovia collage where I earned an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. In July of 1996 I Had my first daughter, Kieryn. I moved back home to get the support from my parents and friends because being a single mother is never easy. Once I got on my feet I got a head teacher position in a local daycare center where I still teach today. In December of 1998 I had my second daughter, Jasmine (boy is she a handful). I finally learned my lesson and did everything I could for my girls being a single mom. In 1999 my father past away leaving me with the most beautiful memories of my girls and him together. had been a tough road for me. At this point in my life I focused on what was really important. I was a single mother for 6 years before I met my someone special in February 2002. I had a baby boy (Nathaniel) on 6-6-05. We became married and that was short lived for 4 yrs and it ended in divorce. I have accomplished so much and learned so much just about myself though my life experiences. I am where I am today because I made it happen. I went back to school and earned my Bachelors Degree in Human Services and now work as caseworker. I have continued my education and is currently working toward my MSW. Although I am a single mom, working full time and attending school I m soooooooo proud of who I am.
