Tracy's Story
Life
After high school, I earned a bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy from Union College and a master's degree in film and video from American University in Washington, DC. Then I moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue my career. In 1997, I got married and within a few years moved to a house in a suburb of LA (where Karen Freeman Rodriguez lives.) In May 2001, I had a daughter, Molly.
I run my own public relations agency. Prior to consulting, I was the director of public relations for PeopleLink, a B2B Internet company that provides community services such as instant messaging and message boards to e-businesses for customer relations...Expand for more
hip management.
Before PeopleLink, I was an account supervisor at Hill & Knowlton, a top 5 public relations firm, where I managed several teams for H&K's technology clients. Additionally, I have held positions at the Terpin Group, where I led the Internet Group for the firm, and at InterActive Agency, one of the first public relations agencies in the country to take on Internet public relations. I began my career doing entertainment public relations at a boutique firm in Los Angeles.
As a freelance writer I have been published in The Net, Websight, America Online and California Computer News, and most recently did a piece for Gannett News Service.
