Life Update in 2011... Life remains a Great Blessing every day! I thank God for the good times and learned well from the hard times. Can't complain because I'm still here. My family is doing well along with my Shih Tzu Lucy. My girls are now 23,14 & 15. I'm the one left out in the cold cause they are "Daddy's little Girls." I continue to move forward in school for my doctoral in Educational Leadership. Should be done around 2012. This year begins the dissertation process which we know cause you to loose weight,hair, nerves and sleep. Well, loosing most of those won't hurt. But it simply takes dedication to your studies and my dissertation will focus on "the high drop out rate of minorities from higher learninng (college)during the first year and never returning to school." Right now nationally the estimate is around 72-76% which is unacceptable. My dissertation research will be looking at specifically the preparation of Black American students for college with the mission to earn a degree. I've gotta choose an audience to keep it simple.
