Tracy's Story

Hello on April 9, 2009.... Ok a little bit about my life since high school...Let's see in a nutshell approx. 32 years later lol...Well out of high school I moved down to Dunnigan, Calif. with my Dad to go to school (Consumnes River College-Sacramento) to play Baseball. Well my Diabetes ended that dream fast, and so began that ¿medical¿ part of my life. To make a long story short~~I ended up on Dialysis in ¿88, 20 hrs of Laser treatments ¿84-85, Kidney/Pancreas transplant in ¿90 & another Kidney transplant in ¿92 (my wife Nancy donated to meJ After living in Butte Canyon & Chico during my High school days, and coming back from Dunnigan, I moved to Paradise as my Diabetes was making real sick. One of the great things (the best thing that ever happened to me) was that through the Diabetes trial~~I cam to know Jesus Christ as my person Lord & Saviour JAs my Diabetes was just thrashing my body (eyesight, kidney failure, Neuropathy, etc.) I met and married Nancy Lang: (another best thing that happened in my life)JWe were married at Calvary Chapel in Paradise in 1986. Nancy worked as a Letter carrier in Chico for 20 years, and I did part time landscaping (cleaned neglected yards). When Nancy retired, we sold some rentals in Paradise (just at the right time) and moved t...Expand for more
o North Eastern Oklahoma in 2006~~and we just love it here! Eastern Oklahoma is real green & lush since we¿re on the west side of the Ozark mt range. (The Ozarks are more like rolling hills with bazillion oak trees). I think the Sutter Buttes are higher than any highest point in the Ozarks. Nancy has to kids, Bill in Zürich Switzerland & Julie in Chico. We have a dog-named Anny, she¿s an English shepherd (6 yr old female) who loves playing catch with the tennis ball & Frisbee! We have a kitty cat named Boots who adopted us when we moved to our current house¿was like boots said, ¿Meow, I¿m yours, let me in!¿ lol. Last July I lost my transplanted Pancreas of 18 ½ years & now my transplanted Kidney is on its way out too, but my health is really good (thank Jesus for that) and so now I head down that road again for another transplant[s]. Last Nov. 2008 we went to UCSF (San Francisco) for a kidney/pancreas evaluation and they basically this: ¿Your almost 50 (Oh that was weird hearing that) and we think it would be better for you to get a living donor Kidney transplant first then a Pancreas later¿. So God knows about that, and we will see how that plays out. Anyways we have been blessed and that¿s what¿s up in a nutshell. God bless you, Tracy Email spottie259 yahoo
