Tricia's Story

Life Since High School, life has only exceeded my expectations. I was married in 1991 to Craig Cook (no, not the one from OHS, mine's from New Mexico) After hubby graduated from BYU we ended up in Beaverton, Oregon. I still wonder what pulled us back to Utah since I miss Oregon and take every chance to go visit. We have 2 daughters (born in '92 and '97) and a son (born in '94). On our return to Utah we bought a house in Pleasant Grove where we spent close to 9 years. We are currently living in Herriman, UT and learning there is life out in the West side! After spending a few years working as a Substitute Teacher I decided to go out on a limb and try something new. I work part time as a Distributor for a Lousianna based company called Slumber Parties, and I love every minute of it. Want to know more about that, just drop me a line, I never shut up about it! As I find myself aging (yes, I consider 30-something getting older.. I can see the wrinkles comin') I am surprised by how fun everything is. Happy little family, great friends, new house ... what more could a girl ask for? Each day is a new adventure and I hope to greet it head on. School Wouldn't it be fun to have a KOHS reunion? My fondest high school memories surround the radio staion and the friends who helped to run it. What are you guys up to now? How about a BBQ at my place? College I'd love to find my BYU roommates, especially Kim Brown and Kristy Fisher. We got lost in the moving shuffle and it would be fun to take a walk down memory lane! Did we ever get any homework done? I think we played way too much and way to...Expand for more
o well! Is there still a place in Provo like the Ivy Tower??? Ok ladies, I did as you said and wrote up my bio, now I want to see more on yours! Workplace After High School I continued to work for KSRR radio for about a year, but the demand on my time was no fun (I needed a few nights and weekends off to play!) I took a seasonal job at Mervyns in the University Mall, and that ended up a career path, one I decided not to follow far. After being the area coordinator in both the Childrens. then the Jewlry Department, I ran away to Oregon and never looked back. I will admitt to liking that job, mainly because I met my hubby while we both worked there, but some of the friendships made during that time are still intact, and I wouldn't change it a bit. Once in Oregon I got to play Mom as my only job for a long time. When my youngest went to school, and I got bored, I took a job at my kids' Elementary School. The pay was terrible, but I loved being involved and having something to do, I don't do bored very well. I overlapped that job when I decided to become a "Direct Distributor of Personal Care Products" for a company called Slumber Parties. I throw 'at home' parties for women and love every minute of it. I get to talk about life's "unmentionables", laugh, have fun and get paid! Love it! Since we moved to Herriman I no longer work at the school, and just sell Slumber Parties. I realilze how much I like volunteering at the school, and don't have time to get bored. In case you want to know... Craig, hubby, works for Intermountain Healthcare, as a Software Engineer in their Health Plans Division
