Trish's Story
I now work for a university, something that would have been highly unlikely for me, back in the day. I have a degree in criminal justice and worked for 8 years as a substance abuse counselor for community corrections and drug court. Again, another highly unlikely, back in the day. I guess growing up and raising children on my own made my life choices really different from what they were, back in the day. ning is for me, I will be extremely excited if all goes right and I pass and graduate in Spring of 2009. I have one class to go.
I have 2 sons and my husband has 4 children. We raised them together since the youngest ones were 12, they just turned 26. My son, Joe, has a daughter, my Chloe. My son, Jeremiah, has 2 daughters, Julene and Lauren. My son, Mike, has a son, Robert. My husband, Bruce, and I love being grandparents. I think being a grandparent is the most rewarding role in life.
