Troy McKay:  

Life After graduation, from Richmond, I moved to Illinois, and earned a Bachelors degree in Music Ed from Illinois State University, and a Masters Degree in Trumpet Performance from Northwestern University. At Northwestern I met my future wife, Lucile Head. We now live in Washington DC with our two boys John, age 3.5 and Gabriel, age 1. I play trumpet in the United States Army Band, Pershing's Own. I enjoy playing at the White House, and for dignitaries and tourists alike, but the biggest event in my life came my freshman year at Illinois State, where I asked Jesus Christ in my heart to be my personal Lord and Savior. I strive to serve Him better every day, and I currently serve as the Music Director at Fellowship Baptist Church. I lead a 60 voice choir, and a 25 piece orchestra. My wife, Lucile is my rehearsal pianist, and my principal violinist. The Lord has really blessed my family and me, and we are excited to see what He has planned for us in the future.
