After graduating in 2000 nothing eventful happened whatsoever for a few years. I stayed on at the machine shop I was working at for a time. It was a very boring job but the pay was good and I was getting a paycheck every week, so I didn't mind too much. College was the furthest thing from my mind at the time. So for three years I worked from 3:00 in the afternoon to 6:00 in the morning, four days a week until I just couldn't do it anymore. The nightly grind was getting to me and I was getting fed up where I was at. In hindsight it was probably a big mistake to work there, but like I said the pay was great. In 2003 I decided it was time to move on and I started looking at different colleges here in Minnesota. I had no desire to attend a university, so that shortened the list quite nicely. I enrolled at Rasmussen College with an eye on double majoring in Accounting and Banking & Finance. The schedule at Rasmussen was flexible enough to where I was able to find an entry-level job working for Wells-Fargo and gain experience in an office setting, which was where I wanted to end up. Fast forward to 2006 and I am in the process of graduating from Rasmussen and am working as a Merchant Analyst at the Best Buy Corporate offices in Richfield and am loving every minute of it.
