I worked in the education field for over 43 years first as an elementary teacher and then as a school administrator and finally as Director of Special Education in the Capistrano Unified School District . During that time, I also enjoyed my two "side jobs" as a professor in the Educational Technology Masters Program at National University, and as a consultant for Edupoint, a Special Education software company. I retired from public education in 2013....and 8 days later started working full time for Edupoint as a product specialist. It was a great change of pace. I was on the Special Education implementation and training team and worked on site with 70 school districts in 14 states. I retired from Edupoint in 2019 but it was short lived. I then served as a consultant for two of the largest districts in California specializing in Special Education compliance and State Reporting. I have also kept busy as a baseball and soccer coach, Scout Master, and serving in a variety of callings in my church (Mormon) including Missionary, teacher, and Bishop. My ...Expand for more
