Valencia Williams:  

I attended J.N. Ervin from the fall of 1968 to thru the fall of 1970. I attended Wilmer Hutchins High School from the spring of 1971 until the spring of 1972. Then I attended South Oak Cliff High School from the fall of 1972 and graduated at mid-term in January of 1973. I remember more classmates and interacted with more of them from J.N. Ervin than any other school. I was in the band, choir and National Junior Honor Society there, as well. Some of my classmates attended of my father's church, Highland Hills United Methodist Church. We lived in the Highland Hills Apartments and I remember the Trash Can Band coming through the apartments in the evenings during the spring. I was best friends with Rachelle Johnson. We moved to a house on Judge Dupree Drive in late 1970. Because we were now in the Wilmer-Hutchins School District, at mid-term of the 1970-71 school year, I then attended Wilmer-Hutchins High School (Hutch).
