Valerie's Story

I hope old friends remember me as a good friend they could count on. Wildest thing I ever did in school? That's Classified. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have sleep, coffee, and arrive early to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Heroes: Rick Mercer, Jennifer Graf-Groneberg & Cesar Millan ... they all do something they believe in and every one is making a difference. I left Dartmouth in 1989 when I got married and moved to Lahr, southern Germany for five years. From there, we posted back to Oromocto, NB, then moved to Antigonish in 1997. Been here ever since. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Jocelyne Potvin, because She was a good friend. I miss her. Surprise #1 - my daughter was born with Down Syndrome. little time to learn....surprise #1 is perfectly ok and my little girl has a lot of potential, more than I originally suspected. She is very smart, full of mischied and a lot of fun. Every day is a new beginning and parents are the biggest source of limitations. Don't limit your expectations or hold your kids back. Ms. Matheson. She really had her head on straight and was an excellent influence. If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to various organizations & people in need, then spend the rest on investments, home repairs & upgrades and FUN stuff. To be truly happy, you have to decide to be happy, no matter where you are or what your situation is. My current age is 43. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be boring & old. I was so completely wrong..
