Valerie's Story
Life
I've been married and living in Cincinnati, OH since 1994. As of July 2005 we have 6 kids.
I graduated w/a degree in philosophy, but once children came along I was led in a different direction. For a while I was a childbirth educator and doula, which is kind of hard to do 100% of the time w/a bunch of kids. I do a bunch of freelance web design, mostly bartering for services, and edit our church religious education newslet...Expand for more
ter (yes, I'm *still* Catholic).
The most significant thing I'm doing right now is home educating our children, something someone described more accurately as "enhanced parenting." It is a challenge many days, but definitely a joy!
We visit New Paltz about once a year, since my mom still lives there (my dad passed away in 1996), either during the summer or over one of the holidays. I miss it at times...Ohio is soooo flat!
