Life
I am the author/editor of the blog Thus And Such which you can find at thusandsuch.wordpress.com. It's a commentary of sorts on life, sports, politics, and other stuff.
College
This school was okay for what it was, but it screwed a hell of a lot of people over. Especially when the state of Maryland fined the school $500,000 in 1998 for academic violations pertaining to lost invoice records. Then they moved out of the "Ivory Tower" in Laurel, The job placement unit did no better than I could have done myself--referring potential employees to temp agencies, I figure, isn't exactly something that requires "expertise". All that requires, actually, is a internet connection, a MS Word resume, and a few job search sites like HotJobs and Monster. Hell, ANYONE could've done that.

ful. And I'm not being facetious when I say that. The skills taught in that course are things I still use in my own business practices and my writing skills today.
But still, I wonder if I had just gone to a regular college, rather than a vocational school who promised paydays they couldn't deliver, if I would have been better off. I suppose it's never too late to go back, but the bills...ah, the bills, need to be paid.
What I've Been Up To.
Muddling through, just so. I was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus in November, 2004, and still getting treatment for it today. Guess I wasn't such an idiot for all the running I did back in high school; had I kept at it, I probably don't get the disease. Still, I'm okay, and managing disease just fine. Had a bit of a problem with the eyes during a hyperglycemia episode (that led to the diagnosis in the first place) but all is okay now, with occasional need for low-power readers.
