Vera Mae's Story
Life
After BPHS, I graduated from UCSB and then joined the Peace Corps serving in West Africa in Public Health Education. Fours years of French with Mr. Hunnex really did do some good, after all! At UCSB I continued to swim - still do, though not as fast or far!
I have been in Human Resources for all of my career. 19 years at a bank, 7 years at a transportation district, 4 years as the HR Director for AbilityFirst in Pasadena,a not for profit org. prov...Expand for more
iding services to developmentally disabled adults and children. I just joined JorgensenHR as a Consultant in Human Resources management.
I have done a resonable amount of traveling and really enjoy being able to "live" history through museums and architecture. I also still love to dance, sing along with all of the oldies and have at least one good laugh a day!
I have not married yet. I have 7 nieces and nephews and two grandnieces and 2 grandnephews!!
