VeraTina's Story
Interesting changes abound in the Gilbertson home. Jim is leaving for Fort Riley, Kansas in August and then on to Afghanistan in January. He will be gone for a total of 18 months. He is at 20 years + and will retire when he returns in January 2011.
Dave has been hit by the Obama missile and the economy has taken its toll. He was informed by his boss that he is laid off as of August 15, 09. What sucks is that he has dedicated 100+ hours every two weeks to this hack and all he gets is a sorry, financial issues. What a cack.
So, if you know of any good jobs around the Sierra Vista, Arizona area let me know. He needs a job bad or he will be moving back home...AGH!!!

wo other grand-dogs, Zero, Dave's pit bull and Saint, his newest puppy that is a German Shepard/Saint Bernard mix. I also have 3 grand-cats.
School
My happiest memories of school... High school was interesting I have to say one of my favorite memories was the sock hop that my son Dave was my date. He was 2 years old. Funny but true.
College
I am 6 classes away from finishing my BA in Economics from Strayer University. Due to illnesses with my Mom and Dad I have had to take 2 semesters off and just started back July 6, 2009.
Workplace
I am an economics geek in communications and marketing. I work for the City of Sierra Vista in Arizona. I am a Marketing Specialist. Google me, it's funny, I write press releases and articles weekly. I am working toward moving up in the City. Hopefully.
