Vernon's Story
Life
I still love cartoons. They aren't as pretentious as
the news media, even though they share the same goals
and talent. I don't think anyone is really running
this world, and that's a good thing. I think there is
a great big box where most people think heaven is, and
it is full of mismatched socks and oranges. The socks
come from dryers. I've been looking for people who
might be drying oranges - I suspect my neighbors.
For a long time I suspected cats were actually running
the universe...Expand for more
. Society is pretty much set up to support
them. But they don't like oranges, and wouldn't
tolerate a big box of them in the sky. I think they
would bury them- I have supporting datum. Also, cats
would rather have the socks around to play with.
Of course, I've noticed my neighbors socks match, and
they have all have cats. But that isn't the point.
