Life Wow! A lot has happened since high school - seems like a century ago! I am enjoying my life, my family, traveling and rediscovering what it means to be on my own without anyone to answer to. I love Jesus, my sons & Tennessee football. I also enjoy cooking, reading, studying the Bible & being on the lake in the summer. The other thing that brings me joy are my girlfriends. I have a group of friends that I have now been hanging with for at least 25 years. We call ourselves "The Flamingos" (Mary, Carol & Sherry). We met when our sons played soccer & were in Cub Scouts together (of which I was the Den Leader). We have traveled many times together over Spring Break with all our children (usually 14 total) and have also taken many "Bad Girls Road Trips". I know my life would have definitely been very empty without them. Oh yeah, then comes work...I am a mom, but I also work at my church, First Baptist Concord, in Sports Outreach. I went to work right after high school, then moved to California and lived there for about 10 years...married while there and had my first 2 sons (Shane & Myles)...wa...Expand for more
