Vicki's Story
I married my high school sweetheart right after graduation. It will be 30 years in july '09. We have three grown children. Two of which are recently married. The boys are both in law enforcement and our daughter is a surgery tech.I moved to the west side of town upon graduation and love it here.I could never leave. We are looking forward to retirement and a few grandchildren. As a kid growing up in "BEAR TERRITORY", my brothers and I had a lot of fun running the neighborhood with all the other kids playing kick the can and flashlight tag until well after dark. Those were the good 'ole days, huh? Once I got in middle school and high school, I was always a wallflower....Expand for more
I think, being the only girl with 5 brothers, I was never given the opportunity to speak my piece, but I came out of my shell once I had kids. I was fiercely protective and vocal when it came to them. My daughter is EVERYTHING I ever wanted to be.I think just being a mom to the three of them was my calling and if I had never accomplished anything in my life but that, I'd have been just as happy. I would like to hear from some of you in my past though, so look me up and lets chat. Ladies, we have a "MOMS GONE WILD" group that gets together once a month. Perhaps you'd like to join? Its just a way for us former wallflowers to let everyone know we really do exist. :)
