Victoria's Story
Update on my story June 6, 2012..... well in 1969, I married and had four wonderful girls, Veronica, Jennifer, Michelle and Alexis. Things didn't work out as planned and divorced in 1983. God was watching over me and sent me a gift from heaven a man named Bob who was a widower with a 17year old daughter Kerryann. How blessed was I to find a man that not only loved me but my girls as well. We married in 1986. Things were just wonderful but again things did go as we wanted and Bob died suddenly in 1994. I not only lost my husband but my best friend as well and never thought I would meet someone that I wanted to spend my life with. But again God was watching and in 2002 or so while on the internet I found an old school friend. We went to grade school together and he was back living in our old neighborhood with his wife Jane two daughters Kathleen and Ellen. They had both retired from the Air Force. So we talked now and then and sent funny emails to each other just to stay in touch. Easter of 2003 we had a family picture taken with all the girls, their husbands and children it was a first for us.Finding someone to take a picture of all of us. The picture came out so well that I sent it out to everyone encluding Tim and his wife to show them my happy and large fa...Expand for more
mily. Only to find out that Tim's wife Jane had passed away the year before. Tim had thought someone had told me. I felt so bad and told him that if he needed someone to talk to I was there, for I knew what it was like. We talked every now and then after that. I never thought of anything more then friendship even though he was my first boyfriend back in 4th grade. Well, as I said God was looking out for me because we did go out as friends then started to date, engaged and got married New Years Eve of 2004 adding two more girls to my family. How wonderful life can be after sadness. So here we are married 7 daughters,5 son-in-laws,and 10 grandchildren,4 boys (yea!) 6 girls. Tim and I are both active in the Philadelphia Affiliate of Komen for the Cure and work crew for the Breast Cancer 3Day. Tim loves the Civil War so we also do work with the Gettysburg Foundation. So my life is good I have been blessed to see 3 of my girls marry Jennifer, Alexis, Michelle plus Kerryann and Kathleen. All the Christenings, Communions, Confirmations, Graduations, Weddings and family parties that go along with a large family. As for the grandchildren they age from 21years to 4 months old. I feel like I'm on my second set of grandchildren and I thank God everyday for what I have.
