Virginia's Story
Well, I didn't walk up there in gown and cap (which I truely regret)but I learned from my (BIG) mistake and went on to make my life a better one. High school diploma and college degree, plus much more. I was surprised at Obama's inaugural speech, as my personal saying is "when you make a mistake pick yourself up, dust yourself off, learn from the mistake and carry on." I have never had any children. Love life, live in Florida. My sister's have made mistakes too, but they all have college degrees, good lives and children that have college degrees. y twin, Evelyn has a son that was awarded TWO full scholarships to Ole Miss and Tulane!!! Wow, how great is that. He turned both down to go to school in London, England. He has never drank or drugs, talk about a perfect child. Handsome to boot. We have all had our trials and tribulations, hopefully rising above them. Our mother died Feb. 2006. Danny Hooker came to the funeral home to visit. I thought that was so very kind of him. We lived across the street on Magnolia. He made me think of alot of good times. I guess that is why I am doing this.
