Jenna's Story
Life
After graduation, I attended Yuba College and then went on to get my BA from Chico State and later a teaching credential. I taught at LHS for a few years and then moved to Sac and taught for 4 more. It was long enough to burn me out on the public ed system, so I took a break and went back to school.
I got accepted to the MA program at Stanford Religious Studies. It was a great experience, but I missed teaching. So I came back to Sacramento and started subbing for a while. Last year, I got hired by San Juan D...Expand for more
istance Learning Project to teach algebra on TV. It's been kinda fun, but it's not the same as being in the classroom.
This year, however, I got hired to teach part time at a private high school for girls. I'm in heaven. It is the most amazing and rewarding job. I'm so happy to be here.
Other than work, I'm divorced with no kids, but have a full, rich life. My nieces and nephews keep me running as well as my hobbies: sewing, historical reenactment, reading, traveling, etc I love Europe and hope to visit often.
