Life
My Pets - a cat named Duchessa. My Kids- Anisa (September 30, 1982) & Giordano (June 27, 1986) in Italy dual citzenship (Italian and American.)My Job-English Teacher at the University of South Bohemia. My Main Hobby-Classical Oriental Dance(belly dancing) since 1998. I began when I moved to the Czech Republic. I've performed with a dance troupe in the Czech Republic and Germany and have also given solo performances on several occasions. I love everything from the costumes and make up to rehersing and performing. I remarried in July of 2007.
School
I had not crushes in school and no particular teachers ever inspired me. I guess that one of the funniest things was the senior trip to Washington, D.C., from beginning to end.
College
At Bradley, my most unique memory was probably the time I met Alex Haley back in 1971. This was five years after he co-wrote The Autobiography of Malc...Expand for more
om X and before the publication of "Roots". He spent more than four hours talking we me and two or three other students.
At UCSB, there are just too many memories to tell, but I guess one of the nicest ones was my directing of the play "Neighbors".
Workplace
Working at NBC was probably one of the most interesting jobs I ever had in my life. My first year was in KNBC sales. Jim Doerner was one of my bosses and I remember his litte girl very well.
My second year at NBC was in the Unit Managers Department, working with Fran Zwawalonka. George Haybib was the Department boss and Louise Lillibridge was his Administrative Assistant. I have lots of memories of Wheel of Fortune and the crazy Department Christmas parties. I think one of the days I enjoyed the most was when there was an NBC Day at Disneyland on June 4, 1976. I still have the pictures. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.
