Voddie's Story
My wife Bridget and I have been married since 1989. We have two daughters, Jasmine, and Safya, and six sons, Voddie III (Trey), Elijah, Asher, Judah, Micah, and Amos. My family and I currently reside in Spring, TX (Houston suburb).
PROFESSIONAL
-Serve as Pastor of Preaching at Grace Family Baptist Church in Spring, TX
-Served as an adjunct professor at HoustonÃÂs College of Biblical Studies and Union University in Jackson, TN.
-Served on several church staffs as Minister of Missions and Minister of Evangelism, as well as Staff evangelist. Recently planted a church in N. Houston
-Since 1993, I have had the privelige of preaching all over the country and other parts of the world.

College
I spent most of my college career at Rice University (1988-1991). There I studied international Business and played Football. I started preaching after my Sophomore year and transferred to Houston Baptist University as a Senior. I graduated from HBU with a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Christianity. From there, I went on to Southwestern Seminary to earn my Master of Divinity degree and to Southeastern Seminary to earn a Doctorate. I also spent a year at the University of Oxford (England) during the last year of my Doctoral work.
