My Spouse: We met at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station Enlisted club. My wife to be(Johnette or Johnnie as I call her) was there with a college girl friend. This 'friend' met someone and left her stranded at the club. I, being the gentleman that I am ;), came to her rescue and the rest is history:)....41 years but who's counting?! Johnnie retired in 2005 from a 33 year public school teaching career. She was selected in 94 as Teacher of the Year for New Jersey and in 97 as Biology Teacher of the year. She is currently teaching at a private school. UPDATE: My wife retired from teaching in June 2011. My Pets: We have three cats(the count was five-lost two due to old age...17yrs). Topaz, Stormy and Minnie...they're mostly white. Topaz has eyes that look like topaz(she's the mother of the other two). Stormy was first born during a blizzard and Minnie's ears and tail are black like Minnie Mouse. Cricket and General(Jenny) were the two that passed on. UPDATE: Down to two now, Topaz is no longer with us 6/2010...she was 18. UPDATE: Stormy and Minnie are gone now also. My Kids They have become wonderful people...in spite of misguided parenting :). My son Justen is a college graduate and served in the US Army(Germany, Bosnia & Iraq) and works for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and my daughter Alexis is a college graduate with a Masters in psychology and works for Kid's Peace.
