he next 10 years traveling in North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, India and Nepal.
After returning to the States in 78, I lived near Boulder for a year and then moved to Durango, Colorado where I have lived since then except for a two year stint near Reading, PA where I managed a start up llama farm. Over the years I had numerous small businesses in the Durango area. I am recently retired after serving two terms (8yrs) as La Plata County Commissioner. Currently sitting on several Boards primarily related to the environment and natural resources.
In 2015, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and went through 6 months of chemotherapy. Now, three years later, I am free of any cancer. I have stepped down from all boards that I served on and am currently living six months in Mexico and six months in Durango. Life is good!
