Life
3 children (Olivia, Brett, Doug) - one wife (Kaye - married 35 years as of 2007). 1 grandson, 3 grandaughters. Own and operate family business (Thompson's Clock Manor) in Overland Park, Kansas (since 1980).
Naval officer prior to that (NAVCOMMSTA WashDC and USS PARSONS, DDG-33), Navy enlisted prior to that (USS HALEAKALA, AE-25) Kansas University prior to that (BA, '70) and George Washington U. prior to that. Westport High School, E.C. White Elementary School, St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Mother (Frances) deceased 1985. Father (Ernie) died June 7, 2006. Brothers, Art and Rod and sister, Dee living in St. Louis, Rochester, MN, and wild west Montana
respectively.
