I am retired since 2002 from General Motors and Delphi. I worked there for 35 years in various positions in Engineering, Labor Relations, and Manufacturing. I enjoyed my career, but had a chance to retire with a nice financial package. This allowed me more time for family and to pursue other interests. After retiring, I did Consulting as a Plant Manager for "vacation fill in" for executives who wanted to take time off from their job or plants. This paid well, but I found myself spending more hours at it then I did as a Plant Operatiions Manager at GM/Delphi. I quickly gave up this business and settled into the life of a retiree. I currently live at Indian Lake in Ohio in the summer. My wife, Marge, and I have a home on the water on Wolf Island(we do have a bridge over to it!). We enjoy boating, fishing, and of course the social aspects of all the friends that come to visit us "on the water" and that live in the area. We had lived in Centerville, Ohio, for 30 years and our daugther, with the 3 grandchildren, only lived 7 houses from us. It was a tough decision to move to the lake but a good one. The family comes often to visit. Ohio winters on a lake are cold!...Expand for more
