Wb's Story

Life i recall being at rockford road public school, grade 1 and 2 in 1964 - 1967, miss urwitz and miss tornos class. the grade 6 kids played rock concertsfor us at that school, featuring beatles music, my buddy was adam simon he loved to compete and run races in the field. gary cutler was the name of one of the older boys who played a fender strat guitar and the other was gary coleman. if i recall. He became a rock promoter, and promotes the rolling stones. i remember beth, older grade 6 girl from then as well - actualy i recall many of the kids i loved the brand new climbing apparatus - the ropes in the gym. i recall the word off - ice or office and thinking that was funny - great play on words and we joked about it back then. adam and i were charlie chaplain characters in one of the many school events. we acted to the music of swan lake, and the dance of the sugar plum fairys - there were lots of school activitys. it was truly a magicical fun time, stewart - was my other best buddy in the class and also wayne. lori was in the class as well, i had to walk a long way to school and had to pass the wild one legged white dog on the way to school. there was also a huge great dane dog who lived across the school who was quite gentle and likable. i used to go to killer hill by myself to tobbogan in winter and hated the cold then as i do now. they had snow mobiles in the winter at the golf course near the school. then i attended kingslake road public school from grade 3 to grade 6. i was friends with lots of kids. grade 3 started off ok, we had a supply teacher until the regular teacher came back. the regular teacher was a nasty piece of work, mr. hammond was the school principle, quite the old school man, but there was an incredibly youthful vice principle named rick geggie or geggy who was a hippy of sorts and worse cool clothes open shirts, no ties and a beard, to a little kid he was a giant bear and very cool. i recall he played with me and others as equals. we played tether ball in the schoolyard. liked him very much, he encouraged me to love and appreciate all art, i couldnt escape the grade 3 bitches class fast enough and hid in the library as aoften as i could. she, the grade 3 teacher made me get the strap from ol mr. hammond in a storage room with another kid named danny mc girk?, as i recall. in grade 4 there was an experimental open area at the school and my cousin rhonda noodleman was a teacher there, she has since passed away a long time ago, and far to young. she taught me music mostly. i recall some of the teachers who influenced me in the open area, it was quite experimental, they divided the areas up. loved the open space instead of closed classes. it was the 70s times were changing under the trudeau administration. my sister heather was at the school as well and she was popular with the grrrrrrls and some boys. grade 5 was with ...Expand for more
mr. chamberlain and he was a first year new teacher and and pretty cool guy. a little stern with me at times. he loved to play floor hockey with us and had his favorite boys who hung with him after school, i wasnt one of them, they were allowed to call him by his christaian name paul. most of these boys, if recall were not in his grade 5 class but the other grade 5 teacher's class mr. something, cant remember him too well, he wore suits and ties and a little older man, i think? a few others stood out i wish i could recall all there names, steve green and his brother, fraser stark, brad oliver, pat baird, mike stewart, mike knapp, andy brown, brad paulson who passed away very young. ingred urwood and jenifer dulmage i truly loved, anna ferra was my buddy and we married in the school yard as kids. a kid, maybe named paul from germany officiated, he was a great kid. very bright as i recall. mr Mc.Murry taught me much, but was mean as well and he put me in a cage - not nice. but i forgive him, people make mistakes and the world is still filled with morons and idiots. Workplace im crazzzzy still, a writer of sorts of collected storys and ideas, screenplays, movies, theatre productions. invented a few things that seemed to make an impact. publishing and media concerns, mobile broadcasting. a beautiful dreamer. i try to sculpt and paint, poorly, have travelled extensively, played lots, do nothing very well, im great at that. and still do nothing often and always. raised lots of other peoples kids for some time and then a few of my own who i adopted. i have several women in my life and always will. monogamy is not possible. i'm on long island and the hamptons during the summer and winter wherever it's warm, still love winter for 3 weeks around christmas time only. still seeking that special place called mayberry, that perfect place eludes me still. tried residing in malibu, it's great, ok, fine, not perfect, also tried kauai hawaii, it's great and thensome but way to far off the beaten path for me. the carribean, did so many islands, but situatd poorly for me. nappa calif is beautiful and perhaps i will try that someday sooner than later. i loved residing in europe, tuscany, umbria, provence and most likely will settle there once again. i seem to like mediteranian islands, also there charming women, and mostly their sunset colors and their food. they have emotions, they enjoy living life, not to mention the sunsets and beach and sea. did i say i play alot, my who life is one backward reel and play - play - play, i truly never grew up - happy and proud of that. who cares, its alife and it goes in a flash and then poof its over and what the heck, junk happens, laugh it off, get back up and dust off, try again, make more mistakes and then do it again, try making it better. thats a crazzzy philosophy but it works for me. go have fun and a nice day!
