Warren's Story
Graduated from Monroe High School in Rochester, NY. Yes, Renee Fleming's mother was my music teacher from grades 7-12, so I had rich experience in music and education without knowing it. Memorable experiences at Crane, topper playing Bob in "Old Maid and the Thief" and producing and directing my own shows. (Back then we had freedom to pursue our own projects.) Was at Crane with fellow student Paul Siskind who is now the theory/compostion professor at Crane. Performed for years with many people, including Tim Conway, Debbie Reynolds, Tommy Tune, Tom Poston, Bebe Neuw...Expand for more
irth to name a few.(Broadway, off-Broadway, off-off Broadway, Regional) I did my internship at Burt Reynold's Jupiter Theatre." Finally, i went back into teaching (MA from Hunter College), working at Midtown West Elementary (P.S. 212) and Talent Unlimited High School in Manhattan. Crane was freeing and wonderful. i would never change those four years for the world. How can one forget the Roxy Theatre, the President's yard, and eating dinners at all our professors houses? The would not have happened at a bigger, less intimate college. Once a Cranie, always a Cranie.
