Wati's Story
Life
I'm married to a military man. We have two children. Been living in Japan for two years. We're moving back to the state (part of my husband's job) this year. Before Japan, lived in Bellingham for 11 years. Went to Whatcom Community College and earned AA degree in Medical Assisting Program. Worked in M.D. office for five years. While I was working as a medical assistant, I went back to school and earned certification in Licensed Practical Nurse from Bellingham Technical College. ming a nurse and get my RN, or become a radiology technician. That was my first choice before entering nursing program, but of course at the time I didn't want to commute every day to Bellevue where radiology program was offered. It seems that I've been in school forever with pauses in between due to life events. I don't mind it so much....life gets better each year, with a few bumps of course as life should be. My motto in life....stay out of trouble as much as you can, do what's right...the best you can, and go on until you can't go anymore.
