wayne's Story
wayne is from Flint, Michigan. His schools include Dye High School. He works(ed) at U.S. Navy.After i retired from the Navy i went to work at Mead Johnson, a division of Bristol Myers.After Fourteen years there i was offered a chance at retirement with five years added to my time there. I accepted and found similar work at the Upjohn company in kalamazoo, Mich.However i was only working for a contractor and after four years he lost the contract. ed for five years until i turned 65. I finally retired for good from the Post Office.
While in the Navy i was trained as an aviation electronics technician. I managed to carry that training over to become an Instrument technician at Mead Johnson.That is also the same work that i did at Upjohn. However at the Post office i was hired in as a mail handler, where i ran a mail sorting machine.. Quit an interesting job if not as interesting as being an aviation electronics technician on Naval Aircraft.
