Wendi's Story
Have lived in Enid, Ok., since the year after graduation. I had a daughter at 19 who was adopted. We reconnected when she was 15 and I now have a beautiful grandson from her. I have been with my husband for 17 years, married for 14 of those years. We have two boys, ages 16 and 8, and a girl, 7. Jay is an electrician at Vance Air Force Base. ng as a merchandiser at Sears Holdings. I love to be a goof, and I am plenty good at it. My family is my life. Our 8 year old was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in Nov. 2008. He almost died and was in ICU for a week. Was the most terrifying thing I have ever dealt with. He is doing really well now, although he is insulin dependent. Changed our whole lives. I am very proud of our kids they are all smart, polite, and well behaved. Of course, they ARE kids so they do have their moments! Don't know how I got so lucky!
