Wendy's Story
Since I graduated from Lord Byng, I have not stopped learning. I spent many years studying English literature and philosophy, and I was a faculty member at University of the Fraser Valley for 36 years. I have two sons. I retired as Director, Teaching and Learning in 2015. I continue to write, and I offer memoir writing courses on Hornby Island.

come enamoured of teaching online. I enjoy camping and hiking, travel/teaching, and I retired in 2015 to seven and a half acres on Hornby Island.
In 2014, I fulfilled a life long dream to swim the English Channel. On a relay team, in rough water, we reached French waters and made 21 KM before the pilot called our effort.
My most interesting journey so far was to South Sudan in 2009-10 to work with UN staff on prison reform.
