Wendy's Story
Life
After 13 years apart, I married my high school sweetheart Mario Lopez-Mata in 2004. We are currently living on the island of Martha's Vineyard. We have 3 little ones from Mario's previous marriage.
Workplace
After undergrad I worked with adults with disabilities in Gainesville, Florida before going back to school for a Masters of Rehabilitation Counseling. This lead to a career within the criminal ...Expand for more
justice field. I first worked for a private counseling agency, counseling individuals charged with a variety of violent and drug related crimes. I than spent 2 years with the The Alachua Co. Sheriff's Office as a counselor/caseworker within the jail. I than moved to Martha's Vineyard, Mass and am back working with adults with disabilities. I am the Area Director for Seven Hills Community Service, Island Area
