Wendy's Story
Life
In 1997 I married Salwan Denha, also of OPHS class of 1986. We have three beautiful children, a son, Tyler, born in 1999, a daughter, Natalia, born in 2002, and another son, Thomas, who was born on July 9, 2007. We live in Commerce Township, and I am a stay-at-home mom. I stopped working about seven months after we were married. jobs ranging from cashier to teacher's assistant. I had a gastric bypass in December of 1999, which was one of the best decisions I could have made considering I battled a weight problem my entire life. I have lost approximately 175 pounds since high school. I would like to thank all of the people that looked beyond the weight and accepted me as a person. You definitely made a difference in my life during some pretty hard times.
