Judy's Story
I retired last year after 24 years bookkeeping for the insurance agency that my husband and I own. Before that I was a homemaker, raising 3 sons in St Catharines, Ontario, where we were back-yard neighbours with Carol Campbell (12J) and her husband and 3 sons. Other Calgarians within 3 blocks in the neighbourhood were Alan Arthur and his family, Gail Benjafield (I can't remember her maiden name) and Maurice Yacowar. We spent 17 wonderful years there before moving back to BC 18 years ago.

here my husband still tends our business. Gardening is a challenge, with deer and rodents, but I persevere 'cause its just so satifying. I also participate in Bird Studies Canada, watching the birds coming and going year to year.
Other time is spent travelling between Ontario for family and friends, Vancouver, where our youngest son and his family live, and the world. Since retiring last year I've been to Turkey, England, California (three times!), Mexico, Ontario and Vancouver. My passport is filling up! Next year its Egypt, then Italy.
I can hardly wait....
