Wesley's Story
College
After graduation I took a position teaching at the Devereux Foundation in Pennsylvania. I taught high school there and earned a Master's Degree at West Chester University. I married Susan Hills and we had a wonderful daughter - Katie. I went on to earn a Doctoral degree from the University of Cincinnati. I taught at Bemidji State University in Minnesota for four years and was director of Academic Computing. While at Bemidji we had our son Kevin.

niversity in 1979. My wife Susan received a Master's degree from Bryn Mawr College, Katie graduated from Gettysburg College and Kevin from Virginia Military Institute. His senior class was the first to mentor female cadets at VMI. At present I am director of the Center for GIS and Spatial Analysis at WCU, do information systems consulting on the side and am looking forward to retiring in a couple years.
Recent update.. I will be retiring in the next two weeks and look forward to enjoying my grandchildren and going fly fishing.
