Whitney's Story

Life It has been quite a long time since graduation. I can't believe that 20 years has passed us by. I missed the 10 year reunion and hope we have a 20. If you pass by my bio here please feel free to email me. I would love to meet back up with old friends from High School. In the past 20 years I have graduated from College, gotten my master's degree in Special Ed, and am teaching in a detention center here in Cheterfield. I love the kids, even though many have done some really bad things. They are just kids to me and I enjoy being with them every day. I am happily married to a wonderful man and we have three great kids. The son will be 8 this year, and I have two daughters who will be 7 and 5 this year. They keep me very busy! We love to travel and finally bought a travel trailer last year so we don't have to sleep in a tent anymore. This Christmas we...Expand for more

College Upon graduating from high school I enrolled at Hollins College. I loved it there and it was a sad day when I graduated in 1991. I met so many great friends there with whom I still see and talk. I went on to get my graduate degree at Longwood University, driving back and forth from Richmond to Farmville in the evenings for too many years to count. I finally finished my Masters Degree in Special Education in 2002, literally defending my thesis while breastfeeding my youngest child. (She was hungry and hey, we were all women!)
